展览以图文史料再现了林则徐生平，特别是虎门销烟的壮举，带大家回顾那段关系民族命运的历史。

重庆市禁毒办常务副主任、公安局禁毒总队总队长何军表示，希望让更多青少年通过追忆林则徐生平，传承爱国情怀和禁毒责任，筑牢抵制毒品侵害的思想防线。

活动现场，重庆市青少年禁毒教育基地“阳光少年团”小小讲解员、重庆高新区兰花小学的王若伊同学，发出禁毒倡议，呼吁大家铭记虎门销烟历史，弘扬林则徐精神，珍爱生命、拒绝毒品。

重庆市禁毒办相关负责人表示，在教师节这一天启动展览，寓意“教育是最好的防护”。接下来一个月，展览将走进重庆市各级各类禁毒教育基地、校园、车站、广场等场所，让更多市民特别是青少年参与到禁毒教育中来，筑牢全民禁毒防线，为深入推进新时代禁毒人民战争凝聚力量。
