4月10日上午，宜城市公安局警号重启仪式现场，宜城市副市长、公安局局长张雪峰庄重地为龙头派出所民警郑文麒，佩戴其父亲郑勇生前使用的警号，赓续人民警察的使命和荣光。

2020年1月24日恰逢除夕，年仅41岁的南漳县公安局交警大队三级警长郑勇在街面巡逻时，突发急性肝衰竭，经抢救无效牺牲，被追授全国公安系统二级英雄模范称号，并被评为“中国好人榜”的“敬业奉献好人”。

同年7月份，其子郑文麒考上湖北警官学院。2024年，郑文麒从湖北警官学院毕业考入宜城市公安局，成为龙头派出所的一名民警。

从警是郑文麒从小的梦想。在他记忆中，寒暑假几乎都在派出所度过，父亲是永远忙碌、不知疲倦的人民警察。

有一次，父亲接到警情，但又不放心儿子一个人在派出所，就带着他一起到了现场。当时，两名老人发生冲突，拳脚相加，郑勇用身体挡在两人中间，不顾自己的手被划伤，直至两人握手言和。父亲高大的形象，让郑文麒至今难忘。

成为警察后，郑文麒被安排在派出所工作，从最初业务技能不熟练，到现在可以独立处理简单警情，父亲的工作经历也一件件在他身上上演。

去年9月份，入警才两个月的郑文麒，出警调处一起家庭纠纷时，双方当事人情绪激动，眼看就要动手，他像父亲当年一样挡在两人中间，最终通过耐心细致的劝解成功化解矛盾。那一刻，他深深地理解了警察工作的重要性。

阳光下，066167警号熠熠生辉，面对人民警察誓词和父亲警服照，郑文麒许下自己的誓言：“我会沿着您的足迹，以英烈子女的担当，在从警的路上砥砺奋进，为公安事业奉献青春力量。”
